Creativity and Design
Ysgogi is a creative design project. Your probably thinking how do I pronounce it? Us-gog-ee is the pronunciation; it is a unique Welsh word that has many broad meanings. Some examples are 'To Inspire' 'To Motivate' 'To Stimulate' 'To Actuate' 'To Stir' 'To Urge' 'To Induce' 'To Move'. It is a word that I think fits creativity incredibly well.
My name is Andrew and I've always had a passion for creativity, one of those such creative things is web design. Being able to work on something, take a step back and see your hard work turn into something tangible. Then, having the feeling of pride in what you've made is such a great feeling.
A Unique Approach
The way we approach web design projects is through education. If you knew how to build and manage a website, you'd do it yourself, right? Why pay someone else when you can do it yourself?
Maybe you're part of an organisation or a company with an employee who could learn how to build and manage your website for you?
No one knows your business or organisation like you do. What if you could clearly get your message across of what you want, instead of compromising when working with a design agency who doesn't know anything about what you do. Be more efficient with your time and money by learning how to do things yourself.
How it works
We provide all of the tools for you to do the work yourself, along with ad-hoc support for when you may need it.
Stage 1: Initial Meeting to discuss your web design project and what you are looking to achieve. Provided we feel our support program will work for you, we'll propose a plan of work with an estimated number of hours to complete the work.
Stage 2: Up front cost to be paid for the start of the project (we have a minimum up-front admin fee) and support package agreed to with a minimum number of hours of support.
Stage 3: We work with a dedicated person who will learn how to manage the web design project at your end. We also ask for a dedicated person to manage additional costs from third parties.
Stage 4: Additional ad-hoc support hours can be purchased if you feel they are necessary for the project.
Sample Costing:
Up-front admin fee £799
20 hours support @ £40/hour
Additional costs from third parties (for example web hosting, domain, plugins, etc) paid separately. These costs may vary depending on the requirements of the project. We advise you pay these yourself.
What support we provide
We will meet with you to provide the support through video calls, and provide how-to videos that you can access at all times.
We aim to be transparent with costs, and in the event that premium plugins or services are recommended we will tell you the costs of these. We advise that you pay for and manage these services yourself.
We may earn a commission or referral fee from third parties.
